We have really been lucky, getting to know Lauren and Joe on a more personal level over the last year. Joe is a doctor, with a practice in Georgetown; Lauren is a high-profile wedding planner that ran her business in Little Rock, Nashville and Memphis...and now expanding her business to Charleston. We share a love of travel, good wine and family. And had a truly fabulous time covering their very beautiful wedding. Ceremony took place at St. Mary's Catholic Church with reception to follow at the William Aiken House. Now...the decor for this wedding was not typical - Lauren brought in her floral and design team from Little Rock to deck the WAH out, big time! Flowers were shipped in from Holland and picked up from the Port of Charleston...there was not a single detail spared. She is hoping to be picked up by numerous national publications, to include Martha Stewart Weddings. Hair and make up by Dana Rice - Blushair; catering by Fish.
